Marie's Complete Selected Poems (5 Volumes)

As promised, we have put together a selection of Marie's poems. It was not an easy task, as we absolutely loved them all... We didn't know how to share them, as we didn't want to access her Lulu account to upload and sell books, but at the same time we didn't want to put them online for free either because we didn't think it would be OK. Suddenly we had an idea. :) We password-protected them with some of Marie's own puzzles (which we don't think have been previously published), so you can download them for free, but you need to show a passion for what Marie loved and solve the puzzles.

The volumes have an average of 75 pages each. The poems are in chronological order, that it to say the oldest poems are in the first volume and the newest (up to 2019) in the fifth volume, but the "Japanese-style poetry" is all in the fifth volume. This is relevant, as Marie's style changed over the years. Like other great poets, for example Sylvia Plath and Judith Wright (Paul told me about this amazing Australian poet), Marie's style was more complicated in her first poems and became simpler and more poignant later. All her poetry is absolutely great though, and remains great through the years.

Both the poems and the puzzles can be changed at any time. For Marie's early poems we used her own Selected Poems, but we might add more poems from her early books at some stage. We are also thinking, although it is not a promise yet, to put together some "thematic" volumes of selected poems, like poems about nature, the human condition, etc. We would *love* that, but we just don't know if we are up to the task. It would be a nice project maybe for 2022. Stay tuned! In the meantime, we are still working on adding some old drawings to the slideshow, hopefully by the end of this year.

UPDATE: We have been working very hard on the Thematic Poetry project, and we are happy to announce it should be ready within a month or two (it is the end of March 2022 right now). After that we will also update the art slideshow.

April 2022: The Thematic Poetry anthology is now ready!
